ABOUT

"Mother Earth has provided us with the The Plant Kingdom for two distinct reasons-

To Heal
and
To Teach.

Mother Ayahuasca is her Greatest Gift."

What is Ayahuasca?

“Ayahuasca is a sacrament that is here to guide people who are on a path of life transformation.”

The Banisteriopsis Caapi vine is a Malpighiaceous jungle liana found in the tropical regions of Peru, Bolivia, Panama, Brazil, the Orinoco of Venezuela and the Pacific Coast of Colombia/Ecuador.  The vine is the common base ingredient of the Ayahuasca tea. B. caapi contains beta-carbolines that exhibit sedative, hypnotic, anti-depressant, monoamine oxidase inhibiting, and threshold visionary activity.

Ayahuasca brew is a synergistic potion. Although the Indians sometimes make Ayahuasca with Caapi vine only, a wide variety of admixture plants may be combined with the vine. Most typically the vine is mixed with a tryptamine carrying plant. The foliage of Psychotria viridis (Chacruna) is the principal admixture of Ayahuasca potions employed throughout Peru and Brazil. In Columbia and Amazonian Ecuador, the plant Diplopterys cabrerana (Chaliponga) is often used instead.

These plants provide the "light" or the visionary qualities, but these

tryptamine-containing plants are not orally active alone. The

monoamine oxidase inhibiting action of the B. caapi vine makes it

possible for the tryptamine to produce powerful visions. In turn, the

admixture plants potentiate the Vine.

The combination of the Caapi vine with Chacruna is known as a marriage of Power and Light. This medicine has been used for millennia in order to enter the sacred supernatural world, to heal, divine, and worship.

Physical Preparation

The physical condition (body) is what determines the reception of the Ayahuasca as a medicine of cleansing and healing potential.

The body is a vessel. All what is put in the body, everything that is consumed, eaten, all physical activities we engage in, leave a trace in us creating an impact on our well being. The body absorbs the elements from its surroundings, affecting us physically as well as energetically (mentally, psychologically, spiritually).

Think of your physical part as of a vessel in which you navigate the Reality in a broader sense.

The body is also a part of the energetic system, which receives and transmits energy. It absorbs, filters, it can be clogged, blocked, saturated by what it consumes. Therefore the cleaner is the body, the best energetic exchange with the environment is possible.
That said, the better homework we do before the Ayahuasca experience, less “dirty work” we leave for Ayahuasca to be done and more direct the connection is with the medicine. Physical preparation means to make the best effort within your capacity.
